Derek Beans, also known as “Beans,” founded Beans Blades in 2019. He brings a strong background in mechanical and electrical work. In addition, he has a deep passion for knives and everyday carry (EDC) gear.

At first, Derek built custom fixed-blade knives. He quickly turned his passion into a skilled craft. As a result, Beans Blades earned a reputation for quality and precision.

In 2023, Derek expanded the lineup and introduced folding knives. These knives feature a unique tanto-style blade. He based this design on the Warrior fixed blade. However, he also created a fresh and original look that stands out in the market.
